Gulmira Jumayeva from Kattakorgan, who went to work abroad, experienced the difficult days of emigration. His hand was at work. His heart was filled with homesickness. Every day, he worked hard, discovered new aspects of himself, had big plans in his heart, and turned into a big dream. In order to achieve these goals, he would not rest even after work, he would learn another job and observe the people around him. Traveling taught him to value time and work with people. Every difficulty was a lesson, he realized the value of patience and the joy of work. However, the desire to start my own business one day did not let him rest for a moment.
In 2016, the homesick kumsab returned to his homeland. Like some, he brought not clothes or money from a chemo, but also life experience and confidence. He was attracted by waste collected in production areas, on the outskirts of the city, especially plastic items, "after all, these are not waste, they are raw materials for new products, ready-made opportunities," he thought. He started his business without hesitation. He opened a small enterprise that recycles waste and produces pellets. He did not look at what others said. He saw every obstacle as a test. When he got hold of the recycled pellets, his spirits began to brighten.
- Sister Gulmira tells the workers that pellets made from one kilogram of waste processed today are not only raw materials for finished products, but also clean air tomorrow. A small enterprise gradually expanded and became a cluster. To date, it has established 5 LLCs and created 426 jobs. Importing equipment worth 100,000 US dollars from China, it produced 178 billion soums worth of products in the last 5 years. 123 workers are women. Most of them are representatives of needy families, from the strata included in social registers.
- At first, I went to organizations working in this field. "I talked with many businessmen," says the hero of our film. - However, they did not believe that I would be engaged in this work. They thought, "As a woman, she cannot afford it, she will work for 1-2 months and leave." But I did not go back from my purpose and my promise. Now you don't see any waste in the city or in the district, everything is collected and taken to our factory. What we recycle today is ordinary glass. We process iron and plastic products. We have 7 different recycling products. Every waste is a big profit. We are like a family with the workers, there is no such thing as a garbage collector. We sit at the same table and eat, I hear them, I listen to their pain. Until then, I was busy with work and family and did not study. At the moment, I am studying by correspondence at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University in order to get a higher education. I am also studying theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship.
In 2024, entrepreneur Gulmira Jumayeva started to provide services to Narpay and Pakhtachi districts. At present, about 40 trucks of "Anvarjon Business" LLC serve the neighborhoods of Kattakorgon and Narpay districts, while another cluster-owned enterprise "Mansurbek Korgon-Business" LLC works with 59 neighborhoods of Pakhtachi District. In addition to her husband and sons, about 400 workers help her in this work.
2025 was a lucky year for the businesswoman. She was announced as the winner of the Grand Prix at the Republican stage of the national competition "Woman of the Year". The winner was ceremoniously presented with the "Onix" car, a gift from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This is a great reward for his hard work.
So, Gulmira Jumayeva's patience and courage are a source of inspiration for others. He grew up with hard work, he grew up with dreams, he rose with responsibility. He proved in his life that if the goal is fixed, it is possible to reach the destination.
