Based on the information received by the operative group of IIB of Chust District, it was reported that a citizen living in this district is growing narcotic plants in his field. When the said area was inspected by the participants of the urgent event, it was found that 3 thousand plants with a bluish and pungent smell similar to cannabis plants were being cultivated among the fields. With the participation of impartial people, samples of the plant were taken and examined by the staff of the IIB Expert-Criminalistics Center of Namangan region. According to their conclusion, it was confirmed that the plants contained a narcotic substance.
At the moment, a criminal case has been initiated against the citizen by the Investigative Unit of the IIB of the Chust district, and investigation efforts are being conducted.
