Iran Geometry Olympiad (IGO) is a prestigious international mathematics competition that has been held since 2014 among students interested in geometry. Today, young people from more than 50 countries of the world are participating in this Olympiad. The competition is specialized in geometry, and participants are required to think deeply logically, provide clear and perfect proofs, as well as a creative approach to non-standard problems.

On October 12, 2025, the 1st stage of the Olympiad was organized by the "School of Talents" organization in all regions of the republic. Students of specialized schools, Presidential schools (grades 1-11), as well as vocational schools and academic lyceums took part in it.

In this competition, the 6th-grade students of the MIA specialized boarding school Behruzbek Mustafaqulov scored 16 points out of a maximum of 40 out of 300 participants, and Muhammaddiyor Usmonjanov scored 15 points and won a ticket to the final stage.

At the final stage, the winners of the classes were awarded I, II, III places, special diplomas and gold, silver and bronze medals.

Recently, the organizing committee of the Geometry Olympiad of Iran announced the final results based on the separate evaluation procedure for the countries. According to him, Behruzbek Mustafaqulov and Muhammaddiyor Usmonjanov, 6th-grade students of the MIA specialized boarding school, successfully participated in the 2nd stage of the Olympiad and won bronze medals.

This achievement is a clear example of the inquisitiveness and thirst for knowledge of our young mathematicians.
