- First of all, tell us about how you started choosing this field.

- Our house was next to the railway. Although many people don't like it, for me the sound of trains is like music. In my interest in the field, my parents' blessing and 

trust has a special place. My mother - Munira Bakiyeva works as an operator of the Khovos station of the Tashkent regional railway junction of Uzbekistan Railways JSC. When I saw him put on a uniform and go to work, I dreamed that I would be like that too. Therefore, after finishing school, without hesitation, I entered Tashkent railway transport vocational college. After graduating from the educational institution, I started working as an accountant in the Central Railway Palace of Culture of the Department of Work Management of JSC "Uzbekistan Railways". One day there was an announcement about training women to be mechanics. After hearing this news, I was filled with excitement that the time has come when my dreams will come true. "Feruza, this is your dream, why don't you try?" I said to myself. I submitted my documents, passed several serious tests, and since 2020 I have been working as an assistant driver on the Afrosiyob electric train.

- How does the working day start? This is interesting for many people.

- Our working day starts at 04:00 in the morning. First of all, we receive instructions from the depot officer, and then we undergo a medical examination. Then we receive the train and check its technical condition. After arriving at the station, the passengers will be seated, after which the journey will begin. After reaching the destination, there are rest rooms - there we can rest for a while and see the return event. In short, our work requires attention and accuracy, and it is a big responsibility. We have no right to forget vigilance even for a moment. Because it is a great responsibility to respond to the lives of hundreds of passengers. 

- Isn't it difficult to manage both work and family at the same time?

- It's true, our work mainly takes place on the roads. When we go to distant regions, we have to stay there for a day. At such times, my husband's understanding and support is encouraging. My passion for work will increase. They are my closest support and support. A woman can take care of her family and work at the same time if she works hard. You just have to strive for it. In my free time, I take care of all the responsibilities in our house - I prepare delicious meals, I try to spend quality time with my family.

- We see the result of your persistent pursuit of the goal. Your advice to young people who admire you... 

- Of course, you need to study and work on yourself. Our work requires constant learning. Every Monday we have theoretical and practical programs, and in my free time I read literature related to the field and learn new information on the Internet. If a person works tirelessly on himself, there will be no obstacles, all doors will open. Therefore, my advice to my peers and young people is to read, learn, and keep moving. There are many opportunities in our country, and it is up to you to use them. In addition, parents' prayer and teachers' training and advice are important. 

- What role did your teachers play in your professional development and what lessons did you learn from them?

- My teachers in life, first of all, my parents. I learned a lot from my teachers - Ulugbek Kurakov, Rustam Turakulov, Rustam Kayumov, Sergey Davidov and Akmal Yuldoshev. They not only helped me increase my knowledge and experience, but also guided me in making the right decisions in life. Their contribution to me reaching this level is immeasurable. The experience, love and demandingness of my teachers taught me not only knowledge, but also responsibility, determination and discipline. The biggest lesson I learned from them is to never stop learning and strive to be better today than yesterday. There is another important teacher in life, it is a book. Even now, I still read several books, but the works of Pirimkul Kadyrov, whom I have loved reading since I was young, have gained special importance in my life.

- Everyone lives with a goal in mind. What are your future plans?

- I live step by step towards my goals in life. My main goal is to become a first-class machinist.Achieving this position requires high skills, responsibility and constant self-improvement. Therefore, every day I read books related to the industry, I study new technologies, modern trains and trends in the railway sector through Internet resources. Another of my biggest dreams is to go to Spain and train in high-speed trains. Spain is one of the leading countries in the world in this field. 

Its high-speed trains, modern driver training system and safety standards are internationally recognized. Therefore, training in this country allows not only to gain experience, but also to advance to a higher level in my professional career.

Feruza Bakiyeva was born in 2000 in the city of Yangiyer, Syrdarya region. In 2018, he graduated from Tashkent Railway Transport Vocational College. He started his career this year as the accountant of the Central Railway Palace of Culture of the Directorate of Work Management of the Joint Stock Company "Uzbekistan Railways". From 2020, he is an assistant driver of the "Afrosiyab" high-speed electric train. In 2023, on the occasion of "Youth Day", he was awarded with the "Builder of the Future" medal according to the decree of the President.
