The meeting held at the National Cinema Palace of Uzbekistan with the participation of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov was dedicated to this issue. Officials of law enforcement agencies and partner organizations, principals and teachers of the capital's schools took part in the event. As noted at the meeting, all 326 public schools in our capital are being equipped with security systems and are gradually being transferred to professional security services. 

The main priorities of the current new system are the tightening of access and exit control, the expansion of the intelligent video surveillance network, and the improvement of "Panic buttons" and quick reporting mechanisms. Also, another important innovation was the launch of a completely new, intensive training system for school guards. Now they not only guard the building, but also receive special training in emergency response, first aid and psychological stability.

Heads of educational institutions who spoke at the event said that the introduction of the "Safe School" system is a very important task and that they are ready to continue cooperation in this regard.

Special videos prepared by industry experts were also shown at the event. In these video materials, not only the working process of security systems in schools, but also the fact that it is a sacred duty to protect our children, who are the owners of our future, from any threat are expressed with great skill. 

"Previously, when we say school security, we understood only the duty in front of the gate," says Ozoda Qabilova, director of comprehensive school No. 73 in Yakkasaray district. - We should not rely only on technology or the security system, but first of all, we should start from ourselves, from the vigilance of every teacher and employee. If every pedagogue notices the change in the student's mentality in time, if he is not indifferent to a stranger entering the school, the system will give the expected result. 

At the end of the meeting, as a result of special attention of the President, 50 new service vehicles allocated for strengthening the material and technical base of the internal affairs bodies were ceremonially handed over to the operational teams of the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. These vehicles will further increase the efficiency of patrolling around schools and reaching calls promptly. 

The "Safe School" concept, which is currently being developed in Tashkent, is planned to be gradually introduced in all regions of the country.
