At this point, it should be noted that chemical expertise has a special place in criminalistics. In particular, drug-related analyzes trace back to someone's criminal record.
- It is difficult to evaluate any substance at a glance. Especially the analysis of substances found with signs of crime requires extreme care, says Major Agzam Bekkhodzhayev. - The reason is that there are many types of drugs. Therefore, substances brought to our laboratory are checked in several stages. In particular, in 2025, at the Oybek customs post located in the region, a soft, liquid dark-brown narcotic-like substance was found in a blue polymer bag wrapped in yellow ribbons from a car. The analyzes conducted on these large quantities of substances, which were formalized as physical evidence, confirmed that they were narcotic drugs belonging to the opium group.
It is worth noting that the expert criminalists of the IIBB EKM of the region also conducted narcotics expertise, special chemical expertise, ballistics and cold weapon expertise during the "Oriyat" rapid search activities, "Safe and healthy country" multi-stage rapid preventive activities held in the region last year.
