Looking at the history of mankind, we can see that no society has reached heights without books and knowledge. A book is not just a collection of paper and letters, but a treasure of knowledge, experience and wisdom passed down from ancestors to generations. There is a very deep meaning behind the saying "a book is a mirror of spirituality". If the mirror reflects the external image of a person, the book shows his inner world, spiritual world.
Culture and enlightenment are very broad concepts, and reading constitutes their core and support point. A person always feels the need to enrich his worldview, to understand history and the future. This need is satisfied only and only through reading.
In the era of globalization, reading culture has become the core of general culture. In particular, the role of the book is incomparable in educating the employees of the internal affairs bodies to have a high professional culture, in forming in them the spirit of respect for national and universal values, love for the Motherland, and devotion to the ideals of independence. After all, a reader is an employee - an independent thinker, a person with high legal awareness and devotion to duty.
Today, in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ample conditions are being created for the development of reading culture and for employees to work on themselves. The decisions and decrees of the head of state in this field brought the work to a new level of quality. The "Best Reader" competition, which is traditionally held among young employees, military personnel and cadets, plays an important role in increasing the passion for reading.
Also, a special "working and reading hour" introduced on Friday of the week ensures regular education of employees. A modern electronic library was newly established in the Ministry, and thousands of artistic, scientific and legal literature were added to it. Most importantly, integration with the National Library named after Alisher Navoi has opened the door to great opportunities for employees.
Currently, more than 50 information-library centers are operating in the system. Their general book fund is enriched with more than 675 thousand unique literature.
Happily, the work carried out to raise the culture of reading in the system is reflected not only in the lives of employees, but also in the lives of their family members.
One of the bright examples of this is the achievement of Farzona Nosirova, the 13-year-old daughter of major Nasim Boghiyev, inspector of preventive maintenance of the IIB of Peshku district of Bukhara region. He won the republican stage of the "Young Reader" contest and was awarded the President's gift - BYD Chazor car. The love, upbringing and constant support of her parents played an important role in the child's achievement of this high result. This achievement is, first of all, a bright example of a healthy spiritual environment in the family and love for books.
The daily work of the employees of the internal affairs bodies is very responsible and difficult. Deep knowledge and high spirituality lie at the heart of preventing crimes, fighting crime, and ensuring national peace. Reading the book not only improves the professional skills of the employee, but also enriches his human qualities.
Love for books is a high manifestation of love for the Motherland. Therefore, it should become an honorable duty of every employee to make effective use of the opportunities of the libraries in the ministry system, to make reading a way of life. After all, only an employee with a high morale can diligently protect the happiness of our people and the peace of our country.
In conclusion, increasing the legal, political and educational knowledge by raising the culture of reading in the internal affairs bodies is the need of the times. This path requires persistence, regular work on yourself and a sense of personal responsibility. After all, the book is our spiritual shield, the most reliable companion of our professional development.
