It should be noted that in most countries there are special schools and activities aimed at educating young people in the military-patriotic spirit. For example, in Russia, "Yunarmiya" was established in order to form patriotism and military-sports training among schoolchildren and youth. Also, Suvorov schools increase the military training of young people. In the United States, this task is performed by the JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps) program, which is aimed at teaching young people military discipline and rules. Such experiences show that education of children in the spirit of love for the Motherland and military training is integrated into the school system in many countries. This is important not only for the military sector, but also for the future of the entire nation.
This experiment was also implemented in Uzbekistan, that is, the "School of Courage" was established in all regions of our republic, including the 1st general secondary school in Andijan district. 26 boys and girls are studying there. During the admission process, students were selected through a strict examination based on physical and spiritual knowledge and skills.
The school has created all conditions for children. There is a military classroom, manuals on military skills, replica weapons and sports equipment necessary for training. Sports and military exercises are organized more than traditional classes in order to form patriotism and combativeness in children.
- The first task of every citizen should be to protect the Motherland, - says Hayotillo Obidov. - My child also dreams of becoming an employee of the internal affairs body in the future. I brought him to this school to support him. Here, all conditions are created for him to be physically healthy and spiritually mature.
In addition to boys, girls also study in this school. Seeing their quickness, vigilance, speed, we were sure that the efforts during the exam were not wasted.
"I used to think that military service and patriotism were only for boys," says Kamolakhan Ravshanbekova. - When I came to school, I learned about famous military women and their activities inspired me. When I grow up, I want to be among brave and educated women like them.
"Courage schools" are an important factor in educating children not only in military and sports training, but also in the spirit of loyalty to the Motherland. In Uzbekistan, the legal basis of such schools, the order and conditions of training serve to strengthen efforts in this direction. We are sure that the young people educated in this school will become defenders of the state and pride of the nation in the future.
