Recently, videos of traffic violations have been appearing on social networks. Some drivers speeding, disobeying the traffic lights, making dangerous maneuvers or other violations, are taking videos and uploading them to the networks. Unfortunately, such situations are sometimes perceived as "bravery" or "interesting content".
In fact, traffic rules are not a simple formality. They are designed to protect human life and health. Behind every sign on the road lies human safety. Therefore, disregarding the rules can endanger not only the driver's life, but also the lives of other road users.
Another negative aspect of such videos shared on social networks is that they can serve as a wrong role model for some young people. After all, if curious young people try to repeat dangerous actions with the intention of collecting "likes" or increasing the number of followers, this will obviously lead to serious consequences.
- We regularly monitor and analyze social networks. It makes one happy that the citizens are not indifferent. My personal page receives up to 20 appeals in one day, - says Senior Lieutenant Abbas Dadashev, senior inspector of the IIB JXX YHHB of the Jizzakh region. - I request them to send the information that the actions of the "men" on the road have been exposed and the punishments prescribed by the law have been applied to them, and to continue their cooperation. In this way, the number of active citizens increases. After all, public control plays an important role in the fight against violators.
Unfortunately, recently, young people have been creating videos using the soundtracks of foreign war movies and the words of the main characters, showing their behavior and perhaps their "I" in this way. According to observations, such acts are committed mainly by citizens aged 16-30. They don't take into account the big difference between real life and virtual life. This is becoming a trend, especially on Instagram.
"You know, before, many objected to our preparation of video materials about the violation on the grounds of honor," continues senior lieutenant A. Dadashev. - And now "men" stand in front of the camera and behave like heroes. The number of young people, who are not ashamed of their actions, are even increasing the number of people who are not ashamed of their actions. Therefore, I ask parents and educational institutions to educate young people in the spirit of respect for laws, responsibility for the lives of others, and responsibility for their own behavior.
Do not forget that violation of traffic rules is a cause of responsibility. According to the legislation, responsibility for the violation is assigned to the parents of persons under 16 years of age, and to citizens over 16 years of age. In addition, it is necessary to be prepared for sharp criticism and hatred of the public.
There are different ways to gain fame or attention. But collecting "likes" by breaking traffic rules is an inappropriate way. Following the rules, following the culture of the road and respecting the lives of others are the qualities of a truly spiritual person. It seems that making our roads safer is not only a matter for the authorities, but also for parents, educators and society as a whole. Administrative responsibility or other measures alone will not achieve the goal. The powerful influence of education is evident in this topic as well.
