Converted crypto-assets equivalent to 79 thousand US dollars. In short, he grossly violated the law by operating without a license to trade crypto-currencies.

He fully confessed his guilt during the trial. He admitted that he started crypto-trading out of curiosity and in order to earn extra income, and then continued this activity continuously. The defendant said that he sincerely regrets his actions and asked for relief.

The court thoroughly examined the materials of the criminal case, electronic evidence, bank cards, telephone devices and information obtained from the Binance platform. As physical evidence, the account registered to the phone belonging to Jamshid was deleted, and the plastic card used in the commission of these crimes was destroyed in the appropriate manner. 

Based on the above, the court concluded that the defendant's guilt has been fully proven. The guilty party was given leniency in consideration of his remorse for his actions, his confession of guilt and his assistance in the investigation. At the same time, the fact that the crime was committed with malicious intent was assessed as an aggravating circumstance. 

As a result, Jamshid was found guilty of committing a crime related to the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. This case once again showed the need to strictly follow the legal requirements when working with crypto-assets in the digital economy. Experts say that it is important to have an appropriate license and follow the procedures established by the state to operate in the crypto-trading sector. After all, woe is the end of every wrongdoing.
