After graduating from the 8th grade of the secondary school in the city, he continued his studies at the Margilon Medical University. Takhirjon was trained by military service. He was born in a peasant family in Margilon, graduated from Tashkent Higher School of Ministry of Internal Affairs, served as inspector, senior inspector, deputy head of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Fergana region. In 1992, Tahir Okhunovich was appointed to the post of deputy head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In cooperation with his mentor, an experienced detective, Colonel Gofur Toshmatov, and the ministry's sectoral services, he regularly conducted preventive measures to strengthen the fight against crime, strengthen public order, prevent the illegal entry of weapons and drugs into the country, as well as to prevent the illegal export of various goods and materials.
