Children are the essence of our life, children are the essence of human life. Because of their existence, the wheel of civilization is still spinning.

It is the dream of every parent to take care of the children who are the joy of our eyes, the owner of our future, and to raise them as perfect people.

Children's smiles are the decoration of the world. Especially on June 1 - International Children's Day, our planet will live even more with sincere and innocent laughter of children. This date is also eagerly awaited in our sunny land. 

On this day, our people, who have been children since time immemorial, rush to take their children to amusement parks and entertainment venues. They will be given various gifts. This serves to further strengthen the bonds of love in the family. 

According to sources, this international date was announced for the first time in 1925 at the world conference dedicated to the welfare of children held in Geneva. After the establishment of the UN, the protection of children's rights became an important area of ​​the organization's activities, and the celebration of this date became more popular. Currently, this holiday is widely celebrated in many countries of the world. 

Also, the Declaration of the Rights of the Child was adopted by the United Nations on November 20, 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted on November 20, 1989. Almost all countries of the world have recognized these international normative documents and implemented them into their national legislation. The United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF provides material and moral support to children in different countries of the world. 

Along with the positive results being achieved, there are many problems in the world. For example, according to statistics, about 155 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 suffer from forced labor. At this point, it should be recognized that as a result of consistent reforms implemented in our country, forced labor of children was completely abolished.

Children's rights are fully protected by law in Uzbekistan. State and non-state organizations and specialized institutions operate in our country to protect children's rights and ensure their legal interests. In particular, the Children's Ombudsman supervises the prevention of violation of children's rights and legal interests, their restoration, compliance with the legislation on children's rights by state bodies and organizations. 

In this regard, the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also working effectively. In particular, the National Center conducts spiritual and educational events, educational courses and seminars-trainings promoting children's rights among the population. Significant results have also been achieved in terms of improving our national legislation aimed at ensuring children's rights and applying international legal norms to it. Dozens of scientific and popular publications on children's rights have also been published.

In the same way, the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs includes inspectors-psychologists who are engaged in prevention of lack of control and offenses among minors, identification of children in difficult situations or victims of violence and providing them with legal and social assistance.

The humanity and perfection of a person directly depends on who and how he was raised. Indeed, the highest human qualities and national values ​​are passed from generation to generation through education.

Today, many examples can be given that behind the victories of the representatives of the younger generation, who are introducing the name of Uzbekistan to the whole world, lies the incomparable work of the older generation. For example, our compatriot Abduqadir Husanov, who is now successfully playing for the leading football team of Europe, was first brought to the football club by his grandmother Habiba. Or to Grandmaster Jawahir Sindarov, the owner of the World Cup 

Since he was 4 years old, his grandfather, doctor of legal sciences, professor Komiljon Sindarov taught him the secrets of chess. Javahir's studies and mastery of foreign languages ​​were greatly contributed by his grandmother, excellent teacher of public education, pedagogue Jamila Sindarova.

Grandchildren love their grandparents more than their lives. Grandparents consider their grandchildren dearer than their own children.This bond is not just closeness, but a bridge of love drawn from heart to heart. 

A grandchild is a person's trace, root, successor, returned youth and, in fact, extended life.

Our sensitive poet Hamid Olimjon expressed with deep gratitude that he grew up in the world of miracles in the fairy tales told by his grandmother in these immortal lines:

In my childhood days,

In my sleepless nights,

I heard many tales,

Grandma used to talk.

From this sincere confession, we know that the fairy tales and fairy tales of an ordinary Uzbek woman have presented such a beloved artist to our people.

When I visit the cities and villages of our country on service trips, my eyes are happy to see our luminaries walking to music schools with their grandchildren carrying musical instruments, leading them to sports fields and competitions with balls in their hands. Talking to our parents who encourage and applaud their grandchildren in various contests and competitions, I understand one truth: children of families whose elders are considerate do not have idle time. They are the champions of our tomorrow, creators of our future, owners of our perspective. They are children of love and happiness. They are a rare breed of light.
